Fabricio Miño is an environmental consultant and planner with Probus Advisors and has been in close relation with companies of the hydrocarbons and environmental sector.
Fabricio spent his early years in his consulting career with Environmental companies, where he was able to execute his degree thesis related to the Environmental Impact Study for exploratory wells within protected areas in Ecuador. He is specialized in Geographic information systems (GIS) and impact assessments (IA) with the use of ARC GIS platform tools.
He then spent eight years as an environmental engineer at Petroamazonas EP (Ecuadorian Oil Company), where he managed the environmental area, certification processes for ISO 14.001, assure of the National Environmental Compliance, and implementation of conservation and preservation measures in the company's projects. Fabricio was in charge of monitoring the compliance with national environmental regulations, and the procurement of the environmental permits for exploratory and development projects. Fabricio's career success is linked to his interaction with all social and governmental actors to support the relation within the client and the project team.
Fabricio has a degree in Geography and Environmental Engineering from Catholic University of Ecuador, and a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy and Sustainable Development from the Calgary University-OLADE Program. He is Lead Auditor in ISO 14.001.
